NOW RECRUITING: REFEREES & NON-SKATING OFFICIALS

In roller derby, our referees are known as Skating Officials because they're on wheels, like us, to keep up with the pack. In 2024 we're bringing home bouts back to the Twin Ports and are looking to support our next herd of referees (affectionately known as zebras) and Non-Skating Officials (NSOs). We offer A LOT of high fives, snacks after the bout, and small stipends to support travel (when available).

The next step is to JOIN US at a practice or an upcoming bout.

  • For NSOs: Contact us at hcrdinterleague@gmail.com to get added to the list for our upcoming bouts. Show up, and we'll give you some training and a task.

  • For Skating Officials: Reach out to us at joinharborcityrd@gmail.com, we'll have you join us at practice for some basic skating skills.

NEW SKATER INFO:

We're stoked you're interested and we'd love to skate with you. Our Fall 2023 New Skater clinics have closed and we're looking forward to hosting another round in Fall of 2024. In the meantime, we are accepting new skaters to join us at practice. We have gear for you to borrow and a helpful group to show you the ropes. 

Open to 18+ women, non-binary, and gender expansive skaters.
